INSTALL?

My Aunt just gave me a free laptop and about after 4 hours of working on it I had it updated and cleaned out. Then I went to System Labs and found that I need a new RAM drive and a new graphics card. So my question is, does anyone know how to install either of these things???

If RAM is anything like a desktop then that is really easy. Not quite sure on the graphics card part though.

Yeah I figured out the RAM. All you need to is unscrew it in the back and replace it. The graphics card is in the heart of it though so that won't be so easy. Think Better Sound would do it?

Perhaps. They've offered me stuff like that a few times, but Matt also said they wouldn't install his modchip for some reason.

System Labs is known to be really inaccurate.

WELL, I called Dell and talked with this Indian chick for an hour to finally come to the answer. MY COMPUTER CAN'T HAVE A GRAPHICS CARD INSTALLED TO IT! All I can say is, fuck Dell.

Dell computers, especially a laptop that your grandma bought, aren't built for gaming. I suggest finding some low requirement games. You know games like Doom, Quake, Half-Life, maybe the older Unreals. You kind of have a lot of choices in those repsects. Plus all of those games I mentioned are probably cheap anyways. Especially Doom since it's so easy to steal.

You got it for free, shouldn't complain. I've learned calling tech supports more of a waste of time then anything. Like Hannah (kinda) said, Google these things. Matt's also right, a laptop isn't exactly ideal for gaming.

I'm not really complaining about the Laptop. I'm complaining about how retarded it is that I can't even replace the graphics card.
