CHRISTMAS FOR ATHEISTS

HEY I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU ATHEISTS OUT THERE.
Do you think we should celebrate Christmas, or better yet, do you believe in Christmas?

There is no significance of that date linking to Jesus Christ.

I guess I feel obliqued to get my friends and family and whatnot gifts. Every other atheist I know celebrates "Christmas time."

Also I like presents.

No one gives one fuck about Jesus when it's Christmas time. It's all about gifts and everyone knows it.

I disagree. You only ignore Jesus at Christmas time if you choose to. Sadly most of the population has, but this doesn't mean everyone else has to though.

Yeah, the 25 of December was selected by some pope. I do believe the actual birth was sometime around fall or something.

The reason Christmas is on the 25th of December is because christians were trying to merge pagan holidays with their own, as to convert more pagans while letting them celebrate. Just now they were celebrating Jesus instead.



Anyways, I like presents, but I can never really get into Christmas. Or any holiday really.

Christmas means I get a bucket that looks like a snowman in the computer room. S'bout it.

The other day I was in Gwen's kitchen with Alaina and I was trying to make a toaster strudel, and Alaina goes "Hannah, I think we should break up." And I was like "Really?" and she was like "Really." So then I just said "okay," and kept making my strudel.
