Spelunky...

This is one of the hardest games I have ever played. You get one life and there are are more ways to die than it seems. Probably the most ridiculous one is if you try to steal anything from the old man he'll blow you away with a shotgun. The game is actually a pretty good platformer though. The levels are "procedurally generated" basically meaning it really doesn't give you levels that are too similar to the ones the last time you played it.
